
Ghana has a new Spelling Bee champion!
Kwabena Adu Darko-Asare a student of DPS International Ghana is the 2019 Spelling Bee champion!
He takes over from Shifa Amankwa-Gabbey who won last year.

Shifa went on to represent Ghana in the US in the Scripps National Spelling Bee Competition.
Yoofi Baah (left) of SOS Hermann Gmeigner School was the first runner-up and Jeremy Agyei Baafour-Agyei (right) also of DPS International Ghana was the 2nd Runner-up.
