At Ashesi University, students have the option of living off-campus. As such, there are some few things you need to know.

Kuulpeeps Ashesi has put together some tips that you need to know to survive to live off-campus.

To survive off-campus we need to first find a hostel suitable for you, pick one has close or as far from the school that you can afford. There are different options, one in a room up till four in a room in most hostels. The important part is to find a hostel that fits you perfectly.

Find the dos and dont’s of your hostel, try to avoid stepping on the toes of others by being rude, noisy or dirty.

It’s unnecessary to make enemies in your hostel no one wants to be woken up at 2 am to some obscure rap song at the highest volume.

If sharing a bathroom please just avoid leaving soap scum and hair all over the place, there’s nothing probably more terrible than having to clean up hair and scum in the shower, trust me we know what we are talking about.

Having a roommate can be fun especially if you guys just click, but what if you don’t?

Well , its simple try to avoid any situation that would make you feel uncomfortable, keep your side of the room clean and well-organized at all times, set up a rooster, please make sure you come to a compromise but definitely do not let them make you feel uncomfortable, or speak up when you have a problem.

It helps in the long run or better yet well, pick a one in a room option less stress.

Staying off-campus involves spending money on food, water, groceries and transportation.

Get your pockets ready to be emptied.

Remember to have fun, study hard and make the best of off-campus living.
