Since all hell broke loose on Nana Appiah Mensah and his gold dealership firm Menzgold, a group of people who have come in the firing line from most Ghanaians are the celebs who endorsed the company.

Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Becca, Jackie Appiah among others became celebrity influencers for Menzgold, helping the company to carefully create a targeted advertising campaign.

Now that the company has failed to pay the initial deposits hundreds of thousands of customers gave the company, the customers are going after those celebs who endorsed the company.

Some claim they only decided to do business with Menzgold because their favorite celeb endorsed the company.

As a result, some of the aggrieved customers have also claimed that they would file a law suit against the celebs for misleadin them.

However, in an interview with Kuulpeeps, Lawyer Justice Abdulai, said customers of Menzgold cannot sue the celebs for endorsing Menzgold.

He said statements made in an advert cannot form a basis of a litigation since the law regards statements in adverts as wasteful comments that cannot be relied upon.

This just goes to say that the customers cannot build a legal case against any of the celebs who endorsed Menzgold.

At least… they can apologize to their fans for misleading them…

Nana Appiah Mensah is currently wanted by Ghanaian police after he was charged with defrauding by false pretense.
