The year just started last week. It’s been only 9 days but the Ghanaian artistes are clearly working harder than i dunno…think of the hardest working being you know!

9 days p3 ooo but these artistes have dropped sounds that make us hopeful for the rest of the year…well in music!

Wanlov – 2018 Wrap Up

First of all, you aren’t living if you haven’t heard Wanlov’s wrap up of 2018! It’s simple, hilarious and genius! He rapped about the major events, news and konkonsa all the way to the Christmas events and incorporated all the hit songs we loved in 2018, gbaa-ing the stories through the songs. Lmao Wanlov is some storyteller and again, a genius!

Pappy Kojo – Balance ft Joey B and Nshona Muzick

Give us vibes Pappy Kojo!! Give usss!! Y’all know Joey B and Pappy Kojo together equals pure flames!!! We witnessed their comeback in Greetings from abroad last year and just when the new year started, Pappy’s dropped this song “Balance” and well…we love it! Give us the fante trap na yen feeli!!

Kwaw Kese – Unlooking ft Zeal VVIP and Samini

Yhup it’s a throwback artistes reunion thing. The artistes behind our fave old hits came together to give us a very catchy and fun song! It’s fun seriously and to be very honest, it’s easy to throw us back to Senior High school, jamming to this!

Darko Vibes – Obra ft Mac M

Everyone’s going on and on about this song. It’s beautiful, the lyrics are serious picture captions worthy. Look, Darko Vibes is a national treasure and if noone’s gonna protect him, we’d get the gbala to do that!!

RJZ – Fuccin Legend ft Kiddblack

RJZ has been referring to himself as a fuccin legend for some time now and well, we believe him! He’s one fuccin talented legend. This song with Kiddblack is definitely next concert-worthy. Like…we can’t wait to jump to it while it blares from some super loud speakers!! We love how the song starts tho…the few minutes from Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean is giving us LIFE!!!!!

Kwesi Arthur – This is not the tape, sorry 4 the wait

Ugh we were so looking forward to being mad at Kwesi Arthur! He promised us a Live From Nkrumah 2 before the year ends but well, it never came! With all the features he worked hard on all of 2018, we aren’t really surprised. He pulled a Lil Wayne on us tho…something to enjoy while we wait. It’s a great 4 track tape. We heard the first track, Live or Die and well…expected more of that vibe but well, looks like Kwesi wants us to keep listening to him singing. Fingers crossed that LFNK 2 will give us the Kwesi Arthur we haven’t got in a looong while: Arthur with the flow!

Ayat – Honey ft Magnom and Camidoh

Yeah we added this cos it’s a beautiful song. We didn’t really understand the song but it exudes so much love we just had to smile! Ayat tweeted that he made this song for his sister and released it on the day she got married. Congratulations and thanks for inspiring this beauty.

Dope Nation – Ibi Tins ft Quamina MP, Eddie Khae, Twitch, Kofi Mole, Tulenkey

Right?!! We ankasa the way we excite when the song started cos the way they all introduced themselves got us hyped!! All the new age rappers on one song. We love it! No be small song ooo ebi tinsssss!!!! It’s light, fun and jam worthy! If you loved Eish, you will fall for this too!
