While all these are going on, some people have also tried to fake evidence to prove that President Akufo-Addo endorsed.
In a photoshopped tweet, the President reportedly mentioned how inspiring Nana Appiah Mensah’s journey to success was to him and that he was proud of how NAM1 was inspiring young people.
The President allegedly even signed off the tweet with “Ghana is working again.”
Well, with everything that is going on now, for the President to have presumably endorsed NAM1 will serve as a tool of his opponents.
He would be directly implicit in the alleged fraud NAM1 carried out and this could be used as a campaign weapon.
The problem here is that the tweet above is fake…
The handle is correct, the photo is also correct except that the President never sent a tweet like that…. In fact… it is actually not possible for the President to have sent such a tweet with the accompanying photo on 10th April, 2018.
The basic fact is that this handshake between Nana Akufo-Addo and NAM1 actually occurred on 24th

The CAF President Ahmed Ahmed and the disgraced Kwesi Nyantakyi were visiting the President and since NAM1’s Zylofon Cash was the headline sponsor of the Ghana Premier League at the time, he was invited to join the football officials to visit the President.
It was at that meeting that the photo of the handshake was taken.
Seriously, we get why someone would go through the stress doctor an entire tweet…. we get it.
But we’re also here to spot fake news, and we just did that…
