Make sure you reserve some of your party energy this holiday season for 2019.
That’s because the 2019 Epilogo will be a huge turn-up.
Listen, 2018 is not yet over, however, EchoHouse, an award-winning full-service youth focused creative marketing agency, is already making moves in 2019.
Your boy, Mr Eazi is set to headline EchoHouse’s Epilogo 2019 dubbed “The Homecoming.”
The whole thing played out on Twitter when Mr Eazi said Bloombar turn Epilogo.
He is in town preparing for the 2018 Detty Rave Concert.
Just after he sent that tweet, the EchoHouse Twitter handle also jokingly inquired whether Mr Eazi was down for Epilogo 2019.
Now, a highly placed source at EchoHouse tells us… it is a very big possibility that Mr Eazi will headline the concert at his alma mater, KNUST.
Epilogo is a KNUST campus party that started in the second semester of the 2003/2004 Academic year, after a number of friends in Gaza (Ghana Hostels Ltd – KNUST) decided to hold an event that would commemorate the impending end to their years in the school.
Hence the name “Epilogo” which is Italian for “Conclusion”.
The first Epilogo was held just about the same time Repu Hall Week was held and since then it has come to stay.
In 2007, the annual KNUST campus jam went on a brief hiatus, only returning in 2011 for a major comeback, however, it was when EchoHouse officially got involved in 2013 that Epilogo took on the form it has today.
One significant feature of Epilogo is that everybody in attendance wears shorts, and that started in 2013 when EchoHouse took over the organizing duties of this all-important KNUST campus life party.
Since then, Epilogo has become an important ‘convention’ for most tertiary partygoers, who even make the journey from their own campuses in Accra, Cape Coast, Sunyani, among others to enjoy and have that Epilogo experience at KNUST.
Mr Eazi has previously performed at Epilogo which occurred at the beginning of his meteoric rise to stardom in the music industry which quickly took shape thereby sending him to perform on various stages across the world.
As a mechanical engineering student of KNUST, Mr Eazi has been attending Epilogo for years, first as a party goer like lots of other students to becoming one of the artist on the bill.
Come 2019…. he is going to become “THE ARTIST” on the bill!
The “2019 Epilogo Homecoming” will be a full circle for Mr Eazi who has had the opportunity to enjoy Epilogo as an attendant, to becoming one the many artist and now to become that artist everybody will be coming to jam with.
