After a year of unsuccessfully fighting to keep the all-male status quo of their Katanga Hall and after those same grievances led to a demonstration and the eventual closing down of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, the residents of Katanga have made a donation to underprivileged children at the Kumasi Children’s Home.
The current residents of Kantaga Hall made the donation in partnership with the Global Alumni group.
According to the Katanga Hall Executives, this forms part of their “social responsibility of giving back to the society.”

Good job to the Katanga boys for putting a smile on the faces of the children.
They’ve had a difficult 2018.
