If you’re still walking around in GH and you say you don’t know who DJ Vyrusky is, you really need to stop living in a cage. DJ Vyrusky is a Ghanaian DJ known for his prowess behind the turntables.
You know him as DJ Vyrusky but his government name is Kofi Amoako.
Vyrusky was born on 21 April 1989 and has been active from 2010 till now.
Because of his obvious talent, he’s made music with Shatta Wale, Kuami Eugene, Kojo Cue and Mayorkun.
He has also played for big acts on big stages and shows such as Tigo Switch Concerts (2014), First Atlantic Bank Purple Ball (2015 and 2016), Vodafone X Concerts (2015-2016) Ghana Rocks (2016), Ovation Red Party (2016), Ghana Meets Naija (2016 and 2017), Vodafone VIM Launch (2017),Fresh a’ Fair (2016 till date), Tidal Rave (2011 till date), Reign album launch (2018) and the S concert for the past 5 years.
He was on tour with Kidi and Kuami Eugene in July 2018, in Europe.
He also went on tour with Shatta Wale in November 2018 to London, Germany and Amsterdam.
He put together the first edition of his show, ‘Vac With Vyrusky’ in St Thomas Aquinas, his almer mater with performances from over 40 major acts including Shatta Wale, Kidi, Kuami Eugene, King Promise, Kurl Songx, MzVee, Edem, Koje Cue, Lil Shaker, and more.
He’s the first Ghanaian DJ to have a million views on Youtube, with his song, ‘Adwenfi’. The video currently has about 3.2 million views.
