So GH is linking with a whole bunch of countries and this time, we are going all the way to Sweden. Yhup!!
One of our favourite afrobeats and dancehall artistes, Magnom paired up with a Ghanaian Swedish Dancehall artiste called Aurelia Dey and…*insert fireworks here*
What do you expect when you put two talents together?
The song, Sweet Love is a remix to Aurelia Dey’s summer hit single. On the song, she sings about the sweet sweet love she’s enjoying and compares it to that of her ex which well…wasn’t so good. The song reminds us of a slow saturday afternoon, chilling with the love of your life. It’s a beautiful dancehall love song that could have been made by only two obviously talented artistes.
Aurelia Dey is a versatile artiste who sings, dances, is a great producer and has a unique style that definitely keeps you locked especially when she toasts (a style of lyrical chanting in Dancehall music and reggae that involves a Dj talking over a riddim).
She uses her music as an expression within the Afro European movemnet and currently has a dance academy in her hometown, Gothenburg in Sweden.
