Listen maybe…. just maybe and the Free Meek Mill campaign that we did for him on social media got his attention.
You know, when he was unjustifiably imprisoned which sparked an uproar in black America and here for his wrongful incarceration?
There was a social movement with stars like JAY-Z and DJ Khaled participating in it to shine a light on the injustice Meek Mill was facing.
Ghanaians on social media also joined that campaign and a couple of weeks later Meek Mill was released from prison.
Listen.. maybe Meek Mill’s team took notice of our total support of him and now that he is out of jail and promoting an album he released yesterday called ‘Championships’, Meek Mill says he would love to come to Ghana.
While engaging his Twitter fans yesterday to promote ‘Championships’, a Twitter user asked the hip hop star whether he would “love to come to Ghana [Ghana flag]”.
Meek then picked up the tweet and said ‘Yes i would’.

Listen, he probably wouldn’t actually come, we are still waiting for Nicki Minaj’s supposed visit, however, the big deal here is that Meek Mill deemed it important to respond to a Ghana visit tweet.
Millions of his fans were using the hashtag #AskMeek worldwide and he was spoilt for choice on which tweet to respond to and which one to let go into the Twitter blackhole.
However, a Ghana visit tweet, he did respond to and for the better, probably one white American guy who follows Meek Mill because he wants to be cool and didn’t even know Ghana existed will now know that we do.
Still Ghana to the world…
