Local Ghanaian football is making a mark on the international stage even the mist of poor Black Stars performance and the bad press we got after the Anas Aremeyaw Anas Number 12 documentary.
It has been announced that the UK based sportswear brand UMBRO has signed a partnership deal with one of the best local football clubs in the country, the Accra Hearts of Oak.
The Accra Hearts of Oak team will be rocking the UMBRO bumper kits as part of the partnership deal.
Umbro is an English sportswear and football equipment supplier based in Cheadle, next to Manchester, England. It designs, sources, and markets football-related apparel, footwear, and equipment. Its products are sold in over 90 countries worldwide. Since 2012, the company has been a subsidiary of American company Iconix Brand Group.
Its deal with Accra Hearts of Oak is a big one for the 107 years old football club that is recently embarking on a rebranding drive.
