Hey UCC peeps, few weeks to exams and we are sure you are feeling the pressure out there as we are all waiting for the exams time table.

You probably don’t want to eat much because you are worried you will end up sleeping too much instead of staying awake to learn.

But Hey problem solved! Here are some five type of foods to eat during exams to help you learn very well.

1.Green Tea or Coffee

Green tea contains caffeine, which improves alertness and helps you focus. It also has a relaxing effect on your body. It can improve concentration, focus, and overall well-being while decreasing stress.

Coffee helps you feel less tired and increase energy levels, with it you can stay awake all night and learn. You can try the Nescafe black it works very well

 

2.Oily Foods

Salmon, sardines, and mackerel are among the healthiest types of fish, as they contain lots of protein and omega 3, which is essential to keeping a functioning brain working well.

There are other options such as herrings but since you are a student is money wise to be using sardines.

 

3.Dark Chocolates

Dark chocolates are a rich source of iron, fibre, and magnesium. Eating dark chocolate will improve blood flow to your brain, which can result in improved memory.

4. Did You Know Yoghurt Helps Also?

Yoghurt contains good bacteria that improve digestion and help the body fight illness. consuming yoghurt lowers throat infection, ear infection, and risk of cold which is very good for the brain.

Let’s face it, eggs are one of the most versatile foods on earth. Fried, boiled or poached, eggs are healthy and good brain food. They’re a great way to start the day and are more likely to leave you feeling full.
