#RoyalVisitGhana: Here Is What The Prince Of Wales And The Duchess Of Cornwall Have Been Up To

The heir to the British Throne, Prince Charles, The Prince of Wales and his wife, Camilla The Duchess of Cornwall are still in Ghana and undertaking various activities to mark their visit to Ghana.

They arrived on November 2 where they visited President Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee House and later visited the Commonwealth war graves to pay their respects to the deceased soldiers.

They were joined by Prince Edward, the Earl of Wessex who was also in Ghana for the Duke of Edinburgh International award.

Their Royal Highnesses visit to Ghana is part of efforts to improve on the Ghana-Britain ties and celebrate the shared Commonwealth values.

Since they have been in this country, the Royals have attended a reception, visited Jamestown, the Osu Castle and also met the Okyehene.

One day three of Royal Visit Ghana, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall had a full day of activities.

It started with the Prince joining the First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo to a harvest church service at the Ridge Church, afterwards the Prince was joined by the Duchess and the two flew to Kumasi to meet Asante King, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

In their honour, the King was hosting a durbar.

Yesterday, Prince Charles gave a big speech about Britains role in colonialism and how we shouldn’t allow that to happen again.

Then he went on to join a conservative meeting focusing on efforts to fight climate change and protect our ocean.

Later in the day, he had a taste of Ghanaian hospitality when President Akufo-Addo hosted him and his wife, Camilla to dinner.
