Well, for once Ghanaian musicians matched up to the Nigerians on a continental level.

When the 2018 All Africa Music Awards was held in Accra, our own Kuami Eugene, Kidi, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, M.anifest and Guilty Beatz won for us, proving that Ghanaian music can meet other African music, beat for beat…lol

Kuami Eugene won the Most Promising Artist of the year, Kidi won Best Artist in African Contemporary, Sarkodie won Best Artist African Inspirational for ‘Glory’.

Also, M.anifest won Best Artist for African Hip Hop, Stonebwoy won the Best Reggae Dancehall Artist and Guilty Beatz on the best Song of the Year with ‘Akwaaba’.
