The girl many regard as Bullet’s replacement for the deceased Ebony Reigns has found her way back into the spotlight for another totally unnecessary reason.
Since Wendy Shay started gaining prominence after the demise of Ebony, most of her music bare some semblance to that of Ebony’s style of music.
For that matter, people do not see her as charting her own path but living up the path created by Ebony and taking up the personality Ebony created.
As a result, many have wanted to recognize and appreciate Wendy Shay’s own originality both on the stage and in her music.
We believe that was what a joy news reporter was trying to explore when she interviewed Wendy Shay.
After Wendy Shay talked about her music and asked that people ‘should accept me for who I am as Wendy Shay.’
The interviewer then followed up with “Who is Wendy Shay”?
Wendy Shay flipped afterwards and decided not to continue with the interview. She called the question a dumb question.

I could be wrong, but I suspect Wendy Shay thought the question was ‘shade’ like ‘okay and who the fuck are you’. I do think it was asked without Malice… ‘like girl, tell me about you? Who are you ?”

However, Twitter is not being nice to Wendy Shay at all…
They are coming for her real good…
Dear Wendy Shay,
In as much as I like ur music, that question was a primary school essay question.
“Who is Wendy Shay?” Is not a dumb question.
You know who you are , relax, calm down, think the question through and answer.
