An Electoral Commission Executive Member Seen Preaching At The Accra Mall Bus Stop

Most professional Christians try to organize or schedule such that they effectively perform their duties at their fancy jobs in their fancy offices and still make time to do the Lord’s work such as attend choir meetings, cell meetings, clean up at the church and even lead church services.

But most of them rarely take to street evangelism… let’s face it, it’s mostly regarded as “uncool”.

Some of them with ‘respectable’ professional positions cannot bring ourselves to standing at public places such as markets, bus stops and bus terminals to preach the Gospel and evangelize.

But this Executive Member of the Electoral Commission is neither letting her position define her nor let it prevent her from serving the Lord the best way she knows how.

For some time now, Adwoa Asuama Abrefa an Executive Member at the Electoral Commission of Ghana has been leading street evangelism at the Accra Mall bus stop, normally aided by two other ladies.

In August this year, Adwoa Asuama Abrefa was one of the four new members of the Electoral Commission that were sworn in by President Nana Akufo-Addo following the removal from office of Charlotte Osei and her other deputies.

Adwoa Asuama Abrefa, a wife and mother of one, is a corporate legal practitioner, with specialisation in land/property acquisitions, corporate law, and corporate governance.

Before she was sworn in as a member of the Electoral Commission, Adwoa was the General Manager, Legal and Corporate Affairs, at Cirrus Oil Services Limited.

She holds an LLM Master of Laws Degree in Oil and Gas, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and Political Science from the University of Ghana, Legon.

She was sworn in as an EC Executive Member together with Jean Mensa as the Electoral Commissioner, Mr Samuel Tetteh and Dr Eric Bossman Asare as Deputies to Jean Mensa, the Electoral Commissioner.

Adwoa has been doing her street evangelism after working hours at the Accra Mall bus stop for some time now.

Sis is not only helping Jean Mensa to run elections in Ghana, but she is also winning souls for Christ!
