Today, Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales and his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, are visiting Ghana for a four-day visit ending on November 6.
According to Buckingham Palace, the visit by such senior members of the royal family is to celebrate the ties between the UK and Ghana, as well as the shared Commonwealth values.
This would be the second time the Prince is visiting Ghana.
While the Prince and the Duchess are in Ghana, they are due to travel to Kumasi and meet the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
While there, the King will hold a durbar in their honour this Sunday, the Manhyia Palace has said.
