Yesterday evening, between the hours of 10:45pm and 11:00pm, a car caught fire on the KAB/JQB road. According to sources, the accident was caused by a speeding black car that was coming from Pent hall. The driver of the black car had his accelerator locked, while he drifting on the road. As a result, his car hit the ash car, causing sparks of fire from the car.
An eye witness account says that, the driver and the ladies in the car, were able to escape just in time, through the window of the car. The police and the firefighters arrived with garden hose, close to 30 minutes later to contain the situation. They made sure the blaze did not extend to the JQB lecture halls.
