One of the Shatta Movement most famous members, Pope Skinny is no longer part of the movement.
Shatta Movement is a fan base for the dancehall artiste Shatta Wale and its members are staunch followers of his music.
Pope Skinny was one of its members until probably when he bigged up Sarkodie for releasing ‘Advice’.
Sarkodie’s ‘Advice’, which was released just a couple of days to the launch of Shatta Wale’s Reign Album, was largely regarded as a diss track to Shatta Wale.
As a result, everybody in the Shatta Movement had stay reject ‘Advice’ with passion.
However, Pope Skinny did the unthinkable and praised Sakordie for the fire lyrics.
Now according to Shatta Wale, Pope Skinny is no longer part of the SM 4 Life movement.
In an interview with Joy FM, Shatta Wale said Pope Skinny violated the Shatta Movement law and he will put on an SM 4 Life trial before he is welcomed back into the movement.
We wish Pope Skinny all the best of luck as he looks to rejoin the Shatta Movement.
