Yesterday, all of us were supposed to be jamming to and updating our playlists with Shatta Wale’s ‘Mind Made Up’ and M.anifest featuring Olamide on ‘FineFine.’
Then all of a sudden Sarkodie gatecrashed at the party and dropped ‘Advice’, an alleged diss track to Shatta Wale for calling him a poor man.
Sarkodie’s ‘Advice’ became the talk of the town and dominated social media conversations.
Look, it was brutal for Shatta Wale.
Even celebrity friends couldn’t sit on the sidelines and watch Sarkodie murder Shatta Wale all by himself – they had to participate.
With people teasing Shatta Wale and claiming that the launch of his Reign Album will flop because of Sarkodie’s strong-worded freestyle, Shatta Wale knew he had to put up a defiant posture.
Well, for once, it seems he is taking the high road here though he is throwing shade.
We know Shatta Wale’s fans are big on Facebook, so naturally, he would take to that platform to calm their nerves after what seemed like a checkmate moment for their king.
“I just walk my talk that’s all I do with my Shatta movement fans that’s why they call us sakawa boy but hey SM just don’t [dosen’t] give a shit…,” he said on Facebook.
Then he went ahead and gave himself a thumbs up for expertly playing the showbiz game ahead of his album launch.
“Oh shatta wale u [you] kno [know] this job too much 😂🤣😂😂🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾Ade give myself fans kwraaa😂🤣🤣wale 🙌🏾🙌🏾wale 🙌🏾🙌🏾wale 🙌🏾🙌🏾,” he said.
Then he also shared the YouTube link to his ‘Dem Confuse’ music video with the caption “Things I said and they happening in reality … My music is God.. FEAR HIM🔥🔥🔥.”
With these, maybe we shouldn’t be expecting Shatta Wale to enter the studio to cook up a reply for Sarkodie anytime soon.
