Government Chooses Okyeame Kwame’s “Made In Ghana” Song As The Official Made In Ghana Campaign Song

Okyeame Kwame is one of a handful of celebrtities who are using their platform to actively advocate for patronizing products and services that are made in Ghana.

Even when Okyeame Kwame is sporting a western look, ask him and you’d know that the suit was designed by a Ghana based designer, his shoe is locally made, his tie or pocket square was made out of an African print cloth and his watch was made in Ghana.

From head to toe, he wears Ghana.

With that passion translating into his stellar music career, Okyeame Kwame enlisted the help of Kidi to produce his latest song “Made In Ghana.”

Made in Ghana is a live highlife fusion of Rap and ringing folk guitars. The song which has a classic feel was arranged by the legendary Ebo Taylor featuring Kidi and produced by Dan Grahl.

In a letter from the Ministry of Trade and Industry to Okyeame Kwame, the ministry thanked him for his work in promoting Made in Ghana products and services.

“The ministry recognizes your efforts in creating awareness of the Ghanaian culture globally and your achievement in the society. In accordance, we are honoured to make you a Made In Ghana ambassador for the ministry’s MIG campaign,” the letter said.

The letter went ahead to state “the ministry wishes to adopt Okyeame Kwame’s Made In Ghana song for all of its MIG activities.”

Congrats to Okyeame Kwame on this win.

“This is proof that if you keep working hard in the right direction your efforts will never go unrewarded,” Okyeame Kwame said in an elated IG post.
