Yo Freshers! The 29th October to 3rd November is going to be a week to remember.
The School of Business and Management Studies (Sobams) have officially launched their first ever Akwaaba week celebration, that is the SOBAMS AKWAABA WEEK.
You might be wondering what makes up the school of business and management studies. So the School of Business and Management Studies has four academic departments namely Departments of Accountancy Studies, Secretaryship and Management Studies, Marketing Studies and Purchasing and Supply Chain Management.
The program line up for the week is just so fly and we’ve got the real juice. Check it out!
The celebration starts on the 29th of October with a seminar to officially launch the program at 9 am and at 6 pm there will be a massive Jama Night.
On the 30th of October, the sobams is organizing a cooking competition with participants from every department. At 6 pm that same day there will be a debate among the various department.
31st October is all about cleanliness. The school of business is organizing a clean-up exercise to ensure that the campus is clean and at 12 pm is the Sobams football cup happening at the school’s field.
On the 1st of November is the Sobams football cup finals. This where we crown the best department when it comes to football. Later at 4 pm is the students favourite; The Float also known as the Health Walk from Campus to the Cape Coast Sports Stadium or even farther.
The much awaited night, 2nd November is the Sobams Awards and All Black Jams.
3rd is a swim and vibe distin. Its all about the Sobams Pool Party happening the Oguaa Apartments and Lodging On The Cape Coast Jukwa Road. Gates open at 10 am.
