GIJ: A Bride From Akuse To Be Launched At Ayikuma In November, Themed Girl Child Empowerment

Chairman Events and Management Crew with the support of Curious Minds-Ghana will hold the second edition of the No Child Left Behind Charity project in Ayikuma on Wednesday, 14th November 2018. This year’s project is themed “Girl Child Empowerment”. This project seeks to ensure the development of children especially in rural communities in Ghana.

This year, the project will also serve as the official launch of “A Bride From Akuse“, a novel by Ekow Plange, a member of Chairman EMC.

This novel is in line with the project as it seeks to address the issue of gender inequality.

Free copies will be given out to the children in the community. Easily, African literature is being used as a tool to tackle a social canker and also making African novels accessible to the very people who need them.

The partners, Curious Minds Ghana are glad to have been brought on to support this project. They will be giving the talks and advice to our children in Ayikuma, a community in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
