Kuulpeep, if you or someone you know did their National Service in the 2016/2017 service year, then this is for you.

As you know, the National Service Secretariat awards certificates to all service personnel for your service to your nation.

You did that in 2016/2017 and now your certificates are ready, however, it seems some of you are not retrieving them from the regional offices of your area of posting.

Well in an alert, which has been obtained by Kuulpeeps, the NSS is saying that the 2016/2017 NSS persons who do not collect their certificates on or before 31st December, 2018 will be charged for storage when you finally decide to collect it at a later date.

Do not panic, the good thing here is that you don’t have to travel or take time off work to go join some long queue at the NSS just to pick up your certificate.

We’ve told you that the NSS has put in place a delivery system whereby you can get the certificate delivered to your doorstep – stress-free.

Do not interrupt your routine – just follow the steps and get your certificate before the 31st December deadline.

Trust us, you’ll need that certificate one day – remember Otiko Djaba nearly didn’t get a Ministerial appointment because of issues regarding her national service?

Take the steps to collect your certificate now, give it to your parents to keep it, just as you did your degree.
