News reaching us indicates a male final year student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, has passed away.
Dennis Kwao, popularly known as Tonga, lost his life when he fell off the trunk of a moving car when he went for a homecoming ceremony at his alma mater, Ghana National Secondary School (GHANASS).
The incident occurred on the school compound. A viral video of how he lost his life shows him with a towel wrapped around his waist sitting on the trunk of the moving car amidst cheers. He then slipped from the trunk and landed on his head, when the car increased speed. He was pursuing Statistics and was a fellow (an affiliate to University Hall, Katanga).
