On 19th October, the Chale Foundation will be working with selfless medical personnel to provide free health screening for kids of the New Horizon Special School at Cantoments.
The Chale foundation is a non profit organization, dedicated to providing primary health care and support for the disabled, and children with special needs. For three years now, the foundation has been doing an amazing job, providing free medical screening to the children of Dzorwulu Special School, Teshie Orphanage and the Abom special school in Cape Coast.
This year, the chosen school, New Horizon, is a registered non voluntary and non profit making institution. The school provides day school education for children and vocational training as well as employment for adults with intellectual disability. Their students also include people with other disabilities such as spastic, cerebral palsy, visual and hearing impairment etc
