Ghana’s Akwasi Frimpong And His Coach Are Participating In A Skeleton Competition In Canada

Ghana’s only current Winter Olympics participant Akwasi Frimpong is fervently preparing for the 22 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China.

He first participated in the Olympics during the 2018 Winter Olympics, which was held in PyeongChang, South Korea.

But before he makes a return to the Olympics stage, Akwasi Frimpong is upping his game by participating in selected seasonal skeleton competitions.

Skeleton racing is a winter sport that involves plummeting head-first down a steep and treacherous ice track on a tiny sledge.

Akwasi Frimpong and his coach Zach Lund, who recently hosted a combine to recruit new team members,  are currently in Calgary, Canada to participate in a Skeleton Competition.

When Akwasi Frimpong and his coach arrived in Calgary, an old friend of his, Brian McBeath gifted him a beautiful piece of artwork.
