The thought of being a mother and being responsible for raising an entirely different human being scares a lot of people and frankly discourages some from even thinking about having a child.

Your life is no longer yours. Even when you want to go out you must think about another human before you do.

But it seems first-time mom, Gifty Nkornu is committed to making the most out her motherhood experience.

It was in the comments section of Nadia Buari’s Instagram post that new mother made her first public statement since the birth of her child.

“Awwwww thx [thanks] bestie am [i’m] literally in tears right now … I hope am [i’m] going to be a great mom just like you and thanks for being there every step of the way. Love u [you] more Nad with all my heart ❤️ U [you] will always be my forever ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” Mrs Dumelo said.

Trust us Gifty, Nadia is a great mom and if she is your role model in that department then you’ve got this.

Hours after her comment under the Nadia Buari post, Mrs Dumelo also took to her own Instagram page to share this message: “If you read and understand Psalm 91 the way I do, u would understand why my smile is soo big…God I am eternally grateful for my son. 🙏🙏🙏🙏.”

Psalm 91 talks about the great protection God gives his children. The first two verses read:

  1. Whoever dwells in the shelter of the
    Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a]
      2. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
