UG: No More Excuses To Get To Lectures Late. New Shuttle Service Is Here!

It’s no news to students living at the diaspora that transportation to and from campus this semester has
been a headache. The two buses RSTC are working with on campus are just not enough to cater for all of
the students. There are long queues at the bus stop all day and you are likely to stand in the
shuttle if you are lucky enough to board one. We have been crying out and the SRC seems to have
answered.

Introducing H.M Boafo) transport services! They have 3 (so far!) 45 seater buses with extra room to
stand comfortably in them. The seats are very spacious with enough room to accommodate the tallest
of us.

They charge 1 cedi per trip and they might be a bit slower than the conventional
shuttles.

They are not your best bet if you woke up for your 7:30 at 7 am, but they will definitely get you to
your destination.

The shuttles don’t take the road down to the School of Performing Arts due to their size, but rather the
road behind Akuafo and the one in front of the School of Agriculture.

The SRC in a communique issued this morning has advised students to patronize the new transport
service as they work to further reduce the transport wahala.

Kudos to Sly and his team. You are doing
amazing!
