The First Lady of the United States of America, Her Excellency Melania Trump arrived in Ghana yesterday.

She will visit Cape Coast Castle today as part of the activities she will be undertaking in Ghana.

As a result of her trip to Cape Coast, some public roads in the Capital of the Central Region will be closed temporarily at 7:00 am and would be reopened immediately after her visit to the castle.
This announcement was made by the Ghana Police Service in a press statement.
Below are the roads that will be closed:
- From UCC West Gate through Ola Beach road to the Cape Coast Town Hall-Bakaano
- From Abease to Cape Coast Town Hall-Bakaano
- From Metro Mass Station to Bakaano roundabout.
The Ghana Police Sevice entreats motorist and road users to take note of the above before embarking on their journeys.
However, Police officers would be at vantage points to manage traffic. Any inconvenience is deeply regretted, the statement concluded.
