Here’s what he said:

“A little while ago I supported a gentleman, a dear friend actually, who was diagnosed with stage 4 gastric cancer. No expenses were spared for the best treatment and the highest level of care which we found in Johannesburg, South Africa, through our Internal Medicine Specialist here in Ghana.
After traveling to Johannesburg, securing the best doctors at Wits Donald Gordon Medical Centre and surgically removing the tumor, all seemed to be going very well and my friend was officially in remission. Unfortunately, a year later, after feeling unwell again, he was informed that his cancer returned and he was sent back to the Johannesburg hospital again. The prognosis was not positive and sadly but thankfully without much suffering, he soon passed away.
One might regret investing about $100,000 only for things to turn out contrary to what you had hoped and prayed for. However, the precious moments added to his life, the quality time spent with his family and friends after his renewed appreciation of all around him – that last year of his life has no price tag.
