This is about to send shock waves down the spine of a lot of people…
At least we were shocked when we saw the Joy News report about the supposed operations of Menzgold in London.
Look, since the Bank of Ghana and other state institutions such as the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) started getting into Menzgold’s business, some Ghanaians were rather sympathetic of the self-described gold dealership company.
If not for the fact that it is being run by a young Ghanaian, Nana Appiah Mensah who seems to have unlocked a very lucrative business model, the fact that he has established branches of Menzgold in more regulated countries such as the United States of America, England, and Spain earned Menzgold some support.
Now, it seems the supposed foreign offices do not exactly function as their mother company does at home.
A report from Joy News that looked into the Menzgold London branch painted a rather bleak picture.
The Joy News report suggested that the London office of Menzgold is not performing the same activities as the Menzgold offices in Ghana does.

In fact, the report, Isreal Laryea only saw two ladies whom he believed were Ghanaian coming out of the small office space Menzgold is renting at Berkley House in London.
The brisk business of people entering and existing Menzgold offices in Ghana is not the same as seen in the UK.
This just got scarier.
However, just so you know. When the London office was being opened, we were made to understand that it was a Zylofon Media office and not Menzgold.

Maybe that explains why we don’t see “Menzgold” in that London office space.
