For her very first solo international engagement as the First Lady of the United States (FLOTUS), Melania Trump will be visiting Ghana and three other African countries.
Her first tour of Africa will be a visit to Malawai, Kenya, Egypt and starting off in Ghana.
The purpose of her visit to Ghana and the other African countries is to promote her flagship campaign as FLOTUS called “BE BEST”.
BE BEST is an awareness campaign focused entirely on the well-being of children, with the three main strands to the initiative being: well-being, social media, and opioid (drug) abuse.
It champions the “many successful well-being programs that provide children with the tools and skills required for emotional, social, and physical health,” according to the campaign’s website.
“The mission of BE BEST is to focus on some of the major issues facing children today, with the goal of encouraging children to BE BEST in their individual paths, while also teaching them the importance of social, emotional, and physical health.”
While she is here, Melania will be focused on championing the well-being of children that can be achieved through education and others.
It is this same purpose that will be taking her to Malawi, Kenya, and Egypt.
We hope she has a wonderful time in our beautiful country and continent.
