Esther Ajao is a weekend student pursuing Human Resource Management and in level 300.
She successfully delivered a baby girl by name Keren Angel Aba Korkor Nuamah Mensah. The joy of every mother is to see their baby sound and healthy. This isn’t the same for Esther as she is having a hard time with complications after the birth of her daughter and she needs urgent help!
Doctors have indicated that “the earlier the better” and also emphasized that “the more it keeps long the worse it becomes”
These are the words of the mother:
A day after been discharged from the hospital, I realized she struggles when breathing and I took her back to the hospital. They detained us for 4days. Afterward, we went for the review and I was told we would be detained again. This time we spent 1 month there. This time too after Review we returned to the hospital on that same day cos she was still in distress and for another two weeks. In all, she was on oxygen. The oxygen Cost GH¢7.00 per hour. Yes, mother and daughter have been through a lot. After a series of Echo, we were discharged two weeks ago and was asked by a cardiologist to do another Echo at Korle Bu.
This little angel has a heart condition for which she needs surgery in the shortest possible time. We entreat the public to lend a supporting hand to this distressed mother.
