You already know the library is one of the most important places on campus and fortunately or unfortunately, Legon has the biggest library in West Africa. If you haven’t already been in it, here’s fact, it’s massive!! Big enough to get lost in.
Even many of the continuing students don’t even know many hidden places in the library. So, how do you solve that issue?
Every first semester of every academic year, the library hosts its own fresher’s orientation of the library. Everyone is taken on a tour of the library and shown the important areas like the knowledge commons, east and west stacks, how to borrow books etc.
Important thing to know, it has already started and would take place every weekday till 21st September 2018. Just head over to Balme Library between 8am each morning to 3pm each afternoon.
So you are not too late, there is still time.
Even continuing students who missed the opportunity can join.
Don’t miss it.
