A second-year male student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, who happens to be a Business Administration student was found dead in his room at the Student Representative Council (SRC) hostel.
He was found on the 4th of September, 2018, late in the afternoon when his roommate went to complain to the security about his inability to access the room on that day, since the room was locked on the inside from the day before, raising suspicions.
Although his identity has not yet been disclosed, we gathered that he was affiliated to the University Hall, fondly called Katanga. As at now the cause of death is not yet known, but the authorities have ruled out “foul play”. The body of the deceased has since been deposited at the University hospital morgue.
