The Office of the Dean of Student Affairs is organising an Intensive Pre-academic Orientation Programme (IPOP) for all fresh Regular Students for the 2018/2019 Academic Year scheduled as follows:
Date: Monday, September 3rd – Wednesday, September 12, 2018
Venue: Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference, South Campus Assembly Hall and the Osagyefo Library, South Campus)
Time: 9:00am
Please note that the Faculty Orientation is scheduled for Monday, 3rd September 2018 at Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference and South Campus Assembly Hall. Again, the Library Orientation commences on Monday, 3rd September 2018.
GENERAL AND LIBRARY ORIENTATION
- A ‘Day’ has been created for Deans, designated “Meet Your Faculty” where Deans (together with their HoDs) are to welcome fresh undergraduate students and introduce their Faculty (Teaching and Non-teaching staff including Liaison Librarians) and also outline the Faculty’s general policies. The date for this event is Monday, 3rd September 2018.
- The two major activities of IPOP (i. seated presentations & ii. mobile library tours) will alternate. Three groups have been identified, viz., undergraduate, postgraduate and international students.
- As a result, two gargantuan undergraduate groups have been created to facilitate the concurrent running of the seated presentations and the mobile library tours. GROUP I = FES, FSE & FFLLCS; GROUP II = SB, FSSE & SCA.
- Groups III and IV are Postgraduate and International students respectively.
