They say death is the great leveler.
But it seems in Nigeria their National Service Scheme is the real leveler.
No matter how high profile you are, you must do your National Service, which Nigerians call the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
Even if you’re a musician and your father is a governor, you must sign up.
Yesterday, Davido headed to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Lagos Camp to sign up.
NYSC is a one-year national programme organised by the Nigerian Government to make graduates participate in community development and also to foster interethnic relations.
It’s just like our own National Service.
Davido, who graduated from Babcock University with a degree in Music posted pictures of himself before he headed to camp.
He was also seen clad in his white on white for his registration in the camp.
If there is one thing we are sure of, Lagos Camp is about to have a blast.
