Yesterday was World Jollof Rice Day and the British High Commissioners to Ghana and Nigeria were on Twitter debating on which country makes the best Jollof rice.
The High Commissioner to Ghana Iain Walker first posted a picture of him on Twitter enjoying Ghana Jollof.
“When it comes to tea, the Brits surely do it best. When it comes to #Jollof, it can only be Ghana. On #WorldJollofRiceDay only the best will do. I am sure you will agree @PaulTArkwright?#ghanajollof”

The High Commissioner to Nigeria, Paul Arkwright also posted a picture of himself enjoying Nigeria Jollof.
“Apart from enjoying a super tasty plate of jollof rice on #WorldJollofRiceDay, had to take time out to educate @walkeriain & @UKinGhana that #Nigeriajollof is indeed king.”
