It’s going to be a Trotro distin!!!!!!!. Every year, Trotro Vibes have dazzled commuters with the best of poetry and music by our very own. This year promises to be on a whole different level.
Trotro Vibes will be collaborating with Nkabom Festival to host a Trotro Vibes ride from Tema Station to Tetteh Quarshie Roundabout.
This ride is different from the other rides due to how it has been curated.
Nkabom Festival is by Inkfluent headed by Kwame Write.
Trotro Vibes is by Tyba, headed by Koo Kumi.
Poets, Rappers and Acoustic Musicians will be positioned at bus stops along the route of Tema Station to Tetteh Quarshie Roundabout.
The various artists will share their works and also tell the passengers about the bus stops and why they have their names, the history of some landmarks around the bus stop. This is to promote and preserve the history of Ghana through the art of spoken word, rap and music.
Oral accounts of history will be shared in Trotro.
Participating artists include Nene Narh, Keddi, Poetyk Prynx and Koo Kumi. Female artists are encouraged to join the ride.
Just get yourself in the Trotro from Tema Station and you are sure to have a good time with these poets and musicians, you can’t afford to miss this opportunity to release the stress and feel the Trotro Vibes.
