Admission – Entry Requirements
Credit passes (A1 – C6) in three (3) core subjects including English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies, and credit passes (AI – C6) in any three (3) elective subjects for WASSCE candidates.
A credit pass or better in Elective Mathematics is also required of all applicants seeking admission in B.Sc Actuarial Science degree programmes.
Applicants to the English Studies programme are required to have a credit pass or better in Literature-in-English.
The WAEC equivalent of the WASSCE/SSSCE grading system has been adopted. This is shown in the table.

If you hold a G.C.E Ordinary and Advanced Level Certificate, you’ll also need:
Credit passes in at least five (5) subjects (including English Language, Mathematics and a Science subject) in the WAEC GCE ‘O’ Level and School Certificate Examinations.
Three (3) passes at the GCE ‘A’ Level, one of which should be a ‘D’ or better.
Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes at grade ‘C’ or better will also be accepted. A pass in General Paper must also be obtained.
