Donald Trump Might Be Lossing His Hollywood Walk Of Fame Star
Donald Trump can well be the most hated president of all time. His presidency is facing so much resistance that has been unheard of in recent times…
We told y’all some time ago that someone vandalised Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles.
Well, it seems his star getting vandalised should be the least of his worries right now.
For someone who loves to be praised, the Hollywood Walk of Fame Star was a sign of validation for the President.
Now, it seems he is about to lose it.
The feisty, impeccably liberal city of West Hollywood struck a resounding, if symbolic, blow against Donald Trump when it voted on Monday night to remove the president’s star from the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Guardian reports.
But the vote will face its own challenge since no star has been removed once it is placed on the sidewalk of Hollywood Boulevard.
When activists in the #MeToo movement proposed removing a handful of stars last year – their targets included Trump, Spacey, Cosby and the director Brett Ratner – the answer was a resounding no. “Once a star has been added to the Walk, it is considered a part of the historic fabric of the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” the Chamber said in a statement. “Because of this, we have never removed a star from the Walk,” the Guardian writes.
Clay, the guy who vandalised Trump’s star with a pickaxe now faces up to three years in prison for his actions, which triggered a brawl between pro- and anti-Trump factions at the scene of his crime.
