The Ghana Education Service has issued a press release informing 2018 BECE candidates, both private and public to confirm their choice of schools by dialing *800*25#. An amount of one cedi will be charged when the candidates check to confirm their choice of school. The code however applies to all networks.
According to the press release, the confirmation process is to ensure that schools chosen by candidates are exactly what GES has in its system for a hitch free school placement this year.
Most importantly, candidates with any errors or mistakes in their original school selection forms are to inform the District Director of Education in their respective Districts through their Heads of Junior High Schools.
Complaints must have a covering letter from their Head Teachers with a photocopy of their signed original choice of forms.
