Yesterday, Ciroc introduced Wizkid, the Nigerian music icon as the new ambassador for the brand.
CÎROC is a vodka brand of eau-de-vie (clear or colourless) vodka, manufactured by using grapes from the Charente-Maritime region of France.
It is produced and distributed by the British-based multinational alcoholic beverage maker, Diageo.
Since 2007, marketing and promotion for Cîroc has been handled by Sean “Puffy” Combs in an “equal-share venture” with profits from the brand being split between promotional partner Puffy and manufacturing partner Diageo
Ciroc is a major vodka brand and with Diddy’s help, it has become the brand for most hip-hop celebrities.
This Wizkid endorsement deal is major and though we don’t know the details about this deal, it just goes on to emphasize the growing entertainment industry in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
