RSTC Has Gone! : UG SRC Wins Fight To Reduce Shuttle Fares.

Remember a week ago, we were all on the “RSTC Must Go Campaign”? The shuttle service providers of the University of Ghana were planning to increase the shuttle fares from 1.50gh to 2gh. However, the SRC and other influential students decided to campaign against this. The SRC released a communique assuring students that they would do everything in their power to combat this agenda.

After 4 weeks of negotiations with the RSTC management, the SRC, true to their promise, has released a communique saying that the shuttle fares have been reduced to 1gh. This change is said to take effect from 15 August  2018. In the communique, the SRC gives special thanks to the Dean of Students, JCR Executives, Pressure groups and the entire student body for the support during this fight.
