The investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas is well known for taking down corrupt members of institutions through his investigative work.

Ghana and as a matter of fact, African football is still mending wounds Anas’ expose inflicted on the beautiful game in the continent.

For his latest work that is set for release in August, he takes a look at child beggars and the nuisances they face.

The project, that is a collaboration with OAfrica as part of its #KidsOurFuture campaign highlights how some children are trafficked, abused and forced to beg for alms only to make money for older people.

“It was observed that children were trafficked by adults and used as business. Children are denied of their right to education, good health, nutrition, protection and choices and do dangerous work for the benefit of the traffickers, who buy and sell them across borders with impunity,” a press statement on the project said.

The ten-minute film called ‘Chained by Begging’ will be shown on all major TV networks in August.

Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy worked on the original score for the film
