Per a media communique released by the SRC and signed by the office of the SRC Treasurer, Smith Dumenyo, these are the new prices for the taxis on campus:
Diaspora to Campus: Ghc 5.00
Pent to Campus: Ghc 5.00
TF to Campus: Ghc 5.00
Diaspora to TF/Bani/Evandy: Ghc 7.00
Diaspora to Pent: Ghc 5.00
Diaspora to Registry: Ghc 5.00
TF to Registry: Ghc 6.00
Okponglo to Diaspora: Ghc 5.00
Okponglo yo Campus: Ghc 6.00
This doesn’t just affect the dropping fare but also the loading fares.
Okponglo to Campus: Ghc 1.80P
Okponglo to Diaspora: GH 1.70P
Of course, students do not agree with this. Some have already made survival plans. Check the image below. If you need one you know where to look. lol
