It looks like we are about to witness one of the most surprising breakups in the Ghana music scene.
According to reports, Sarkodie’s protégé and Sarkcess Music artist, Strongman Burner has left the label.
A source, who asked for anonymity told Asembi.com that the decision to part ways was mutual.
“Attention was first drawn to the issue after Strongman appeared conspicuously missing from his boss, Sarkodie’s wedding ceremony. After a follow-up, it was revealed that Strongman had indeed left the label after almost three years under Sarkcess music but it has not yet been established if his exit from the label is the reason he was not seen at the wedding of his godfather and mentor,” the website reported.
Apparently, Strongman’s recent trip to Dubai was put together by his new management team in a move to propel his “career to the next stage”.
In the last three years, Strongman has released a number of hits under Sarkcess Music label including ‘Transformer’ featuring another Sarkcess artist, Akwaboah and ‘Baby’ featuring Kuame Eugene.
