Ghanaians are determined to stop the talk shop and actually take action for this woman who was abused in a Midlands Savings and Loans banking hall.
Since the video was shared on social media, people have been very angry at the conduct of the police officer.
One Facebook User, Barnabas Nii Laryea IV sent a statement to the police calling on the security agency and the financial institution to take the necessary steps to rectify the situation.
“We are not coming to share the Video and run commentary like the usual sports highlights shenanigans. It is 3:05pm already! If by Monday, we do not hear anything about the Policeman being disciplined according to the Police Service Rules….,” Nii Laryea said in his Facebook post.
“The policeman has to be sanctioned. Remember 7men were killed on Tuesday and tagged as ARMED ROBBERS. If this incident happened at night and this nursing mother was killed, she could have been implicated for anything,” he went on to say.
For the part of the company, he called on “Midland Savings & Loans Limited you also have up to close of business Monday to issue a press release to clear the air or else you don’t have what it takes to protect customers and their money.”
