Reports have it that, Elba is in talks with Universal to take on the villainous role which would see him go up against Luke Hobbs (Johnson) and Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham). Not much about the character is currently known.
The Fast franchise’s veteran scribe Chris Morgan is writing the script, with Deadpool 2 director David Leitch set to direct the movie.
Dwayne Johnson confirmed the news when he posted a tweet saying “I promised we were going to make this Fast & Furious spin-off awesome and grow out franchise properly. He’s a bad man (legit bad ass). I better toughen up”
